Getting my body into a sweater is like threading a needle with a sausage.
Today my winter wardrobe was going on its last couple of days before i would run out. I need to do laundry. I put on a sweater that I haven’t warn since last year. Yes the musty aromas of stale lint and moth balls hit you like a wall of bricks but it was 6 am and it is 20 degrees outside because of the windchill so it would do. I pulled the wooly fabric over my head, rammed my arms into the sleeves and – stuck-. yes I was stuck where the arm holes are and the head socket wraps around my nose. I had to push will all my morning might to grind my way into this sweater. I think this must feel the same way Catwoman feels every day getting ready for work. As normal my belly button still is outlined and the man boobs looked especially sexy today. When I cut myself out of this thing tonight I’m going to be doing a extra 20 mins on DDR on Master Mode.
I also found out that extra sharp cheddar cheese has 110 calories PER OUNCE! WTF! I love cheese. I used to (as of yesterday) cut little slices and put them on crackers and have it as a afternoon snack. And I would have way more than 1 ounce. Not anymore. Just more water I guess. Any suggestions on a good healthy substitute?
Heh. I feel that way with this particular pair of corduroy jeans. I can’t wear it anymore without the fear of ripping the pants! One of my main goals is fitting in those jeans again.
On snacks, have you tried the following:
-fat free popcorn
-mini pretzels
-baked chips and salsa (salsa is very low on calories, around 15 cal per 2 Tbsp)
Make sure to count each individual pretzel and chip to make out the serving size. As for the popcorn, I eat the Orville Redenbacher’s Smart Pop 94% Fat Free Butter popcorn. It has about 240 calories per bag (I usually eat half and share the other half with my coworkers).
Well, you have to take into consideration that cheese is a GOOD fat as opposed to like potato chips and stuff of the like. So, it’s good in moderation. Plus, calcium is always good for you!
I’m back with DDR too! I don’t have the Supernova game: is that the latest one? If you’d like, I can bug you about it and you can bug me so we can motivate each other. I’ve always found that if you’re bragging to someone else, it makes you want to keep going.
Baked chips and salsa sounds really tasty! Thanks for the snack hints. I know have some more stuff to add to my grocery cart
@Carrie
Bring it on!
