
So in just over a week I have some good news!
I have been intensely training and watching my diet and it has paid off. I have been eating very healthy mostly from tasty FoodNetwork.com recipes that have included such goodies as Shrimp Tacos and raspberry chicken salad. and doing a daily routine that I started this weekend.
This has been my daily workout routine.
- Stretch. Lara (my wife), who was once a ballet dancer, has me do some simple stretches. It is nothing special since I can barely reach my knees without the burning pull of my tendons.
- Play DDR for 20 minutes or until I reach My Calorie burn amount which is about 300. DRR isn’t exactly a exact math on calories burning since it just measures the same amount each time you step. It could either be a tap of the toe or a full jump plant on “Stand by me” by the AHa (current favorite song on DDR). I just bought the DDR SuperNova 2 since my old DDR games were given to my sister-in-law
- Do 10/15/10+ sit-ups and push ups. This is one area where sadly my wife has me beat all the time. Lara has the uncanny ability to crank these out like it is nobodies business. She is one tough little italian girl! I blame it is because her low center of gravity and the fact she weighs about 1/2 of me.
- recover.
I say recover because it takes everything for me not to want to pass out! Pictures from these events are on my camera and I will upload them when i get home.
Yey! 3 pounds less and going!!! That’s great news!
